The district is pleased to announce that 38 student-musicians districtwide attended the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association All-County festival from March 4-12.
The SCMEA All-County Festival is a concert series for musicians in grades 5-10, who have been nominated by their music instructors and selected to participate by the organization’s members. Participants attend three rehearsals prior to performing in a concert with some of the top student-musicians in Suffolk County.This year, SCMEA Central Division I rehearsals, which include the Bayport-Blue School District, was held at Bayport-Blue Point High School.
The district congratulates the following students on their selection to perform at the SCMEA All-County Festival concert, held at Sachem High School East on March 12.
