Welcome to James Wilson Young Middle School!  

I want to extend a warm welcome to our new students and families joining us for the first time. We are thrilled to have you as part of our school community. To our returning families and students, welcome back!    

Middle school is such an amazing time. It’s a place where you’ll learn new things, make new friends, and discover what you’re passionate about. Our teachers and staff are here to help you every step of the way, and we can’t wait to see all the incredible things you’ll achieve.

I encourage our parents and guardians to stay involved, ask questions, and attend school events. Your support is so important. We can work together to create a positive experience for our students.

I encourage our students to be curious, to ask questions, and to make mistakes. That’s how we learn and grow. Explore opportunities and don’t be afraid to try new things. Commit to being kind, respectful, and supportive of one another. With everyone’s help, this year will be filled with exciting moments, new discoveries, and lots of fun.
